House Rules

  • Additional guests shall not be allowed access. This is to ensure the security of the premises and our guests.
  • Additional guests of a group that has checked-in earlier shall pay P500 per head (for day trips, strictly until 8pm) or P1000 per head (for stays beyond 8pm).
  • Walk-in guests are also discouraged access.
  • Reservation and booking are made official only when a bank deposit has been made and confirmed by us. FB Messenger or e-mail inquiries are not considered reservations. We also do not honor pencil-bookings.
  • You’ll need to send us proof of your transaction by sending a photo of the bank transaction slip to our e-mail. The first party to send the transaction slip (since we have overlapping inquiries) shall be given the right to proceed with the reservation.
  • The rental rates that have been agreed upon prior to payment shall hold until guest check-out.
  • There shall be no discounts or payment adjustments should the guests reduce the number of their companions.
  • The Lily also reserves the right to adjust the payments further, if the guest brings more than the expected number of companions.
  • Guests who have made reservation payments or advance cooking request fees will not be able to refund their payments for whatever reason, once the transaction has been made. As such, all agreements made with us shall be final.
  • ‘Acts of God’ or force majeure circumstances, such as typhoons, inaccessible roads, blackouts, earthquakes, flooding, etc., also do not constitute reasons to cancel/refund reservations, once they have been transacted. The guest may, however, rebook to another date, provided it is still available.
  • Cancellation requests may be granted for guests whose place of origin has prohibited them to push through with their reservation due to COVID lockdowns or travel restrictions.  Certified proofs of their travel statuses must be sent via e-mail together with the cancellation request.  
  • Guests who cancel their reservations at any given time, for whatever reason, will not be able to refund any advance payment made. They may, however, opt to re-book to a later date.
  • In instances where there are transaction issues, the Lily reserves the right to ultimately cancel the reservation or inquiry.
  • The Lily shall accommodate requests for re-bookings at no charge, provided the arrangement is made at least 30 days prior to the original set date, and that the requested date is still available. 
  • Re-booking requests made 1-29 days prior to the original reserved date (except for scenarios when there are COVID-positive guests) will not be honored, and any advance payment issued will be non-refundable.
  • We reserve the right to issue rebooking dates if the house will not be able to accommodate the guests due to unforeseen physical or technical issues in our premises.
  • Re-booking requests are made only once, after which all advance payments or deposits will be forfeited.
  • Re-bookings due to COVID-positive guests: For COVID patients, guests just need to send official proof of their condition, stating a COVID-positive status, to our e-mail, thelilybatangas@gmail.com (not the home antigen kits).
  • We’re sorry, but we do not allow pets in The Lily.
  • We strictly impose a NO-smoking, NO-vape, NO-Alcohol policy in the main house, both the indoor and outdoor home areas.
  • Drinking areas are in the gazebos and the Casita Hall. 
  • The guests may smoke only in the two outdoor gazebos, making sure to correctly dispose of cigarette butts in ashtrays.   

While we strive to make things convenient and comfortable for our guests, we also expect them to behave properly in The Lily. Our guests must maintain orderly behavior and cleanliness.

  • Guests are reminded to respect the surrounding areas by keeping noise down.
  • For our team to serve you better, we ask that their rest/private time beyond 8pm not be disturbed.    
  • Penalties shall also be issued to guests for violations of our house rules.
    • Effective June 1, 2017, an Incidental Deposit of P5,000.00 shall be added on top of the reservation fee, as a penalty applied to guest violations, including but not limited to:
      • Theft
      • Property damage
      • Smoking inside the premises
      • Vomiting/urinating/soiling in all places within the property except designated toilets
      • Vomiting or throwing food/drinks/non-pool related items in the pool and deck
      • Soiling the bedsheets and the interiors with stains / bodily fluid
      • Using balloons in or around the pool area (balloons or anything rubber/plastic in the pool could damage our pool filter system)
      • Making a mess or a party place of our house. Please note that our place is for casual relaxation, and not an events place. Again, we expect our guests to behave properly.
      • Use of prohibited drugs
      • Entering prohibited or private areas
      • Causing injury to other people
      • Bringing pets
      • Other related violations
    • The incidental deposit is just a penalty: it does not cover the actual repair, replacement costs, re-purchase, and/or logistical fees of whatever items need rehabilitation. The Lily’s management shall itemize these expenses/damages (including exemplary damages, if applicable) and, when warranted, file a formal complaint against the guest.
    • Teambuildings, game activities, and setups made without permission are also discouraged in the premises.  Our home is only for casual relaxation. 

HOUSE GATE HOURS. Our gates are to be locked by 8pm, strictly no exceptions except for major emergencies.   Please get your needed goods from our stores earlier than 8pm

The gates shall be unlocked only by 5:00am the next day. 

While the town is generally safe, the risk of unexpected incidents is higher beyond the confines of our premises.          

BEACH HOURS.  The Lily strongly discourages guests from going to the beach after dark.  

The Lily shall not be responsible for accidents that may possibly occur outside of the premises.
